Light, light, light. I am a slave to the sun. I want my work to stir up nostalgia, beauty, and a sense of poetry to the everyday. Very rarely are they posed or planned, they are free. My imagery often takes on a romantic and feminine tone. It is Paris meets California. I am deeply inspired by spirituality, nature, painting and fairytales. Director Terrence Malick has recently pulled me in to his cinematic world blending philosophical and spiritual ideas in to movement and art. They have encouraged my mini films. The poetry of Mary Oliver melts me. My eyes feel her words.
